Intact weight with tortoise in relief. It was found in 1959 on the south slope of the Acropolis. In each corner, one of the four letters of the word ΤΕΤΑ (from the Greek word “tetartemorion”), that is one fourth of stater, one of the principal weight measures for solids in ancient Athens.
